anti-valentines mode

what is with people and valentines day? it's like that is about the only day couples have in the entire year of 365 days to show their love and appreciation for each other. the give-and-take of gifts, the slushy-mushy look in their eyes, the stupid holding hands and giggling...yuck. it is very frustratingly annoying to see love-crazy people, and this day, is officially the most sodding and annoying day in the entire year. and while i don't specifically wish them death, it wouldn't bother me the slightest if they just choke on their heart-shaped chocolates or cakes(see below) and stop breathing.

while i love my husband, and love chocolates and cakes, what i wouldn't want to do is to compress all those emotions and calories into a single day and try and make that one bleeding day perfect.
